B-Groups F.A.Q

What does a B-Group look like?

B-groups are small gatherings of people doing life together. We believe changes happen in circles. Usually, a common activity brings people together—whether it is men fishing, moms at a park, young adults at a coffee shop, or friends having lunch. Each time your B-Group meets, you will experience meaningful fellowship, life-giving conversation, and faith-filled prayer. The typical one-hour format makes it easy for anyone to participate.

How often does a B-Group meet?

B-Groups meet two semesters yearly—spring and fall, with some groups meeting year-round. Some B-Groups meet once a week, while others meet biweekly or monthly. We desire that each group provides a meaningful connection to a community of people who love God and love each other.

Where do B-Groups meet?

B-Groups meet at restaurants, coffee shops, people’s homes, the church, a park, basically anywhere!

WhAT IF YOU CANT MEET IN PERSON?

You can meet online with E-Scipleship. Just click here for more information.

How long does a typical B-Group stay together?

Most B-Groups meet for a three-month semester. This allows new people to easily and regularly join groups. Also, the semester format allows you to try multiple groups each year. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for consecutive semesters, but new members are always welcome.

Is childcare available?

Childcare varies from group to group. Please contact the leader of a specific B-Group for more information concerning childcare.

What if I don’t like the first group I try?

The truth is, you might visit a B-Group and determine that it’s not the right group for you. We encourage you to choose several groups that interest you, contact the leaders, and visit each group before making a final decision. The simple strategy to finding success in small groups is not to give up. We believe there is a group where everyone can belong—including you!
