E-Scipleship – Meeting You Wherever You Are

Discipleship: Walking Closer with God Every Day

At Evangel North Church, we believe that following Jesus is more than just attending church—it’s about growing in relationship with Him every day. That’s what discipleship is all about: becoming more like Christ in how we think, live, and love others.

Discipleship isn’t something that happens by accident. It requires intentionality, consistency, and the support of a faith-filled community. That’s why Evangel North has always emphasized the importance of B-Groups—small groups where people gather for prayer, Bible study, and encouragement.

But we also understand that not everyone’s schedule allows for another weekly meeting. Between work, family, and life’s many responsibilities, it can be hard to commit to another event—even one that feeds your soul.

That’s why we’re launching a new, flexible way to stay connected and grow in your faith.

Introducing: Evangel North’s E-scipleship Program

Text the word “JOIN” E-Scipleship to (888) 241-1193

This new electronic discipleship program is designed to make spiritual growth more accessible—no matter where you are or how full your calendar may be.

When you sign up, you’ll receive 3–6 encouraging text messages each week that will help you go deeper into your walk with God. These messages will be based on each week’s sermon and include:

  • Key Scriptures

  • Reflection questions

  • Practical ways to apply the message

It’s like having a mini discipleship session in your pocket—right when you need it most.

Why It Matters

We’re not replacing B-Groups. In fact, we encourage everyone who can to stay involved in one! But we know that spiritual growth must meet people where they are. Our E-Scipleship Program is a way to equip you on the go, whether you’re commuting, at work, or at home with the kids.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” —James 4:8

You were made to grow in your faith—and we’re here to help you do that, every step of the way.

Thank you Doctor John and pastor Erin for your obedience to God,. You have certainly fulfilled the law by showing love for all people and the church. Rom 13:8 Owe no man anything; but to love one another for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. Just as Christ fulfilled the law by His death and resurrection. That’s how I wanted to be like when I first started out and still do. I see how much people are hurting and I want to encourage them. I pray that I can get past myself to be able to minister to others. I love God and people but need to get unstuck and learn to love and respect myself. God bless you and the church.
