Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting seasons of your life, and we are honored that you would consider Evangel North Church to host your special day. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about having your wedding here at ENC.
✝️ Who Can Perform Weddings?
At Evangel North Church, only Dr. John Carmichael, our Campus Pastor, is authorized to officiate weddings.

Dr. Carmichael does not charge a fee, but it is customary to give him a personal offering as a gesture of appreciation.

Outside ministers are not permitted to officiate weddings in our facility.
🧑💼 Wedding Coordinator Required
All weddings must work with an approved Wedding Coordinator who will:

Assist with logistics and timelines

Coordinate with the pastor, media team, and housekeeping
-
Ensure your wedding reflects the values and excellence of our church
🧽 Cleaning & Facility Use
All rooms used—including the sanctuary, dressing rooms, foyer, and restrooms—must be cleaned and returned to original condition.
Couples have two options:

Self-cleaning (must pass inspection by the coordinator)

Hire our Housekeeping Team: $175 flat fee
🎛️ Media Services
Our Media Team is required for all weddings involving sound, microphones, lighting, or video.

Fee: $100

This ensures quality, reliability, and protection of church equipment

Includes rehearsal and ceremony coverage
🕊️ Ceremony Content & Music
All elements of the ceremony, including music and readings, must reflect Christian values and be approved by Dr. Carmichael.

Some secular songs may be allowed if appropriate.

Live-streaming or recording options may be available—ask your coordinator!
🎀 Decorations & Setup
We want your wedding to look beautiful—while protecting our space.

Decorations must be non-damaging (no nails, tacks, glue).

Candles must be flame-safe and enclosed.

Real flower petals may be used with pre-approval and cleanup plans.

All décor must be removed immediately after the wedding.
🔒 Conduct & Responsibility
We maintain a reverent and respectful atmosphere:

No alcohol, tobacco, or vaping on the property

You are responsible for all guests and vendors

All vendors (florists, photographers, etc.) must follow church policies
🕓 Scheduling & Availability

Schedule your wedding at least 60 days in advance

Availability is based on the church calendar and staff schedules

Rehearsals must also be scheduled and will not conflict with church services or ministry events
