David Allen

My name is David Allen. I have been married to my wife, Sara, since 2016, and together we have 3 wonderful children, Jackson, Luke, and Riley. Sara works as a registered nurse, and I am the Connections Pastor for Evangel North. Together, we homeschool our children. Sara and I both graduated from IU Southeast in 2017 with our undergraduate degrees, and I graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2024 with a Master of Christian Ministry degree. My desire is to be in full-time ministry.

Throughout my childhood my family attended a variety of churches, including Baptist, Lutheran, and non-denominational Christian. Unfortunately, I did not always serve the Lord, but God began to get ahold of me as a teenager. In 2014, I attended a conference where I responded to an altar call to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. The only way I can describe it is that, for the first time, I truly surrendered to Jesus as my Savior and

Lord. I was serving in a church at the time, where I eventually served as a deacon and for a brief time, a staff member for the audio/visual department.

In 2017, I began to recognize that I was missing out on certain aspects of the Bible, such as the power of the Holy Spirit, divine healing, and experiencing the supernatural side of God. I knew about Evangel World Prayer Center and attended some services, but it was a far drive, and I didn’t feel like it was going to be my home church. I stumbled upon Evangel North Church on the internet, and I just knew that it was going to be my

new church home. My family and I have attended Evangel North since August 2018, and I can testify that it was the Lord who brought me here.
